Key information

This course is for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. It is especially suitable for people who have ambitions to visit remote places here in the UK or abroad. It can also be of use to the outdoor activity enthusiast and professional. It is acceptable for all National Governing Body Awards and qualifications issued by: BCU, MLTB, NCA, BASI, MBL, TCL, RYA and other sports. A First Aid qualification is necessary to verify virtually all NGB Awards and this conforms to the Governing criteria. It is valuable to anyone working in a remote environment being a very practical course with scenarios to aid learning.
The course would include all of the following although greater emphasis and time would be spent on certain elements. There would be a concentration on the practical areas with a highly interactive approach. Some of the sessions would be outdoors and candidates should be dressed appropriately.
