We are a small company specialising in Outdoor Activities and also offering First Aid training. Golden Valley Training is run by Allan Gibbs, an International Mountain Leader. Allan has lead expeditions to Everest, Kilimanjaro, Alaska, the high Arctic, South America, Borneo and many other destinations. He has also taught First Aid for many years being an active member of a local Mountain Rescue Team for twenty years and having qualified teacher status. Allan is assisted by his wife Jane in the administration of the company and other, very highly experienced and qualified instructors join him on some courses.

We are based in the Welsh Borders in West Herefordshire on the edge of the Eastern Black Mountains. Many of the Outdoor Courses are set in the Brecon Beacons National Park but many other settings in the UK or abroad are possible. This area also provides a useful venue for the Outdoor and Emergency First aid courses but these, together with any other First Aid course, can also be operated anywhere in the UK or Europe.
